Topic #1: 'NPA not threat to mining, but NGOs'
THE presence of New People's Army (NPA) rebels in mineral-rich areas in Davao Region is not a threat to mining companies operating in these areas. Instead, an official of an aggrupation of mining firms tagged non-government organizations, advocating for the protection of the environment, as the ones that make "our knees shiver."

occurence like that, have happened ordinary anywhere.
Really, these mining companies indeed "shiver" at the thought of NGOs disrupting their operations? I thought they are just shrugging their shoulders and nonchalant about the long-term effects of irresponsbile mining. If these mining companies claim that they already got environmental clearances and follow the necessary precautions, well I could not vouch for such truth because in third world countries like ours, these so-called standards are usually fed to the dogs... like when money talks, the eyes could not see, ears could not hear and tongues could not speak.
I deleted the other comment of blue margin because it's a simply case of double entry! anyway, I’m doing a survey and the results will be posted in my blog. It’s non-commercial and non-academic. Please indulge me. I do hope you would answer in earnest. It would be ok if I post your answers verbatim. Just tell me under which name you want your answers to be acknowledged. Thanks so much!
Hi
I think the presence of New People's Army (NPA) rebels in mineral-rich areas in Davao Region is not a threat to mining companies operating in these areas. They did not like this.
